ANNOUNCEMENT: New Club Car!!!
The Victoria Motor Sports Club is pleased to
offer a rental car for people wishing to try our events.
This car is available as a "show up and run" type of
offering for your driving enjoyment. Cost is $40 to run at an event. This club rental car is able to
run mid-pack on any given autoslalom layout if the driver is able
to persuade it to do so. So what is this car that we have to
offer? As many of our members have known over the years, we
use to offer a Ford Pinto as a club car and I found it to be one of
the most enjoyable cars to race. With parts for it being
harder to find and the new popular cars all being fwd we have
moved to a newer platform. The Victoria Motor Sports Club is
proud to now offer a 1994 Honda Civic Coupe for event rentals.
A second fun thing to do with the club car is
to challenge your friend or fellow racer to a duel in the
car. Driving and identical car puts you both on even ground, with the resulting times
will coming down to driver skill. We currently allow up to 3
drivers to rent the club car at any single event so there is a
chance that you can be up against 2 other drivers in the same car.
Do you have a friend or family member who you
think would love to try amateur motor sports? Why not
purchase a club car rental for them as a gift? I offered
this to my dad on Father's Day and it was something he enjoyed a
great deal.
So what are you waiting for?? Come on
out and give it a shot!!!
Send the competition
director an email if you want to drive the car so we ensure it
will be at the event you want to pilot it in. Two weeks notice before the day of the event is required so that arrangements can be made to tow the car to the event.
The club car is also available to rent for
our Drivers training course so if you are interested in that,
please contact the competition
director for the drivers training rental rate.
